It's just a word with seven letters,
Used to show how much you care. Often used to express feelings, That aren't really there. Forever's just an empty promise. Sugar-coated with lies. Seemingly fixing things, But my tears never dry. Forever has no true meaning. A promise not meant to keep. While I toss and turn in bed, You’re peacefully asleep. Forever's just another word. To hurt, to cause pain, to cry. Forever's just another word, That leads to a painful goodbye. |
